Traffic along I-25 southbound near Monument Hill re-opened but was still moving slowly this afternoon.
Officers closed the road at 11:22 a.m. to clean up a minor accident involving a truck south of Colo. 105 in Monument.
Traffic about 3 miles north of the accident was re-routed to local roads until officers re-opened the highway about 12:18 p.m.
Medics planned to take one adult and two children to a local hospital for minor injuries, said Eric Wynn, a spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.
