Colorado health officials say a salmon product from Vita Food Products Inc. is believed to be contaminated with listeria, and the company has issued a recall.
The state Department of Public Health and Environment on Monday said the product is Vita’s Classics Premium Sliced Smoked Atlanta Nova Salmon. It was sold in Colorado Safeway stores in 4-ounce black packages with a sell-by date of Dec. 15, 2011.
