A traveling World War I exhibition will be at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum next week, and admission is free.
“Honoring Our History” will make its 11th stop on a national 75-city tour.
The exhibit is Sept. 8 – 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The Wings Over the Rockies Museum is at 7711 E. Academy Blvd.
The 18-wheel traveling museum exhibit includes the tools, weapons, equipment and uniforms from Work War I.
The tour is sponsored by the Denver offices of mutual fund company Waddell & Reed. The company’s founders, Chauncey Waddell and Cameron Reed, were veterans of World War I. The exhibit includes founder Chauncey Waddell’s flight gear, his flight suit and log book.
