An eight-month investigation into cocaine and methamphetamine dealing in the San Luis Valley netted seven arrests and a haul of drugs, weapons and cash, the Colorado State Patrol said today.

Those arrested Wednesday were Michael Pinon-Arambula, 26, of Alamosa; Steven DeHerrera, 39, of Alamosa; Jesus Pinon-Arambula, 33, of Monte Vista; Jose Octavio Lopez-Montes, 40, of Center; Francisco Avila-Elizarras, 52, of Alamosa; Machelle Dominguez, 45, of Alamosa; Judith Ruybal, 33, of Alamosa.

Investigators are still looking for Adrian Lucero, 28, of Alamosa.

During the arrests, law enforcement say they confiscated 2.8 pounds of methamphetamine and 1.57 pounds of cocaine. The estimated street value of the drugs is $157,200, according to the State Patrol.

Authorities also seized two vehicles, three rifles, a pistol, a stun gun, a military grade bullet-proof vest and an undisclosed amount of cash.
