The man arrested for allegedly robbing a King Soopers pharmacy Wednesday night also was arrested in July on suspicion of robbing a different pharmacy across the street.

Officers were called to the grocery store in the Standley Shores Shopping Center at 9983 Wadsworth Parkway around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday after a robber fled with prescription narcotics, said Trevor Materasso, Westminster police spokesman.

Shortly afterward, officers arrested Paul McQue Webb, 26, who was spotted hiding in Big Dry Creek.

Webb was released on bond earlier this week after he was arrested July 15 for allegedly robbing at gunpoint a Walgreens pharmacy across from the King Soopers. In the July robbery, police said a man fled with narcotic pain pills. Officers found Webb four hours later, sleeping in a Jeep Cherokee at a stoplight at 92nd Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard. No one was injured in either robbery. Jordan Steffan, The Denver Post
