The driver of a semi-trailer truck was killed this morning, after his truck rolled in Eagle County.

The truck was traveling eastbound on I-70 when it rolled near Gypsum at 5:18 a.m., said Trooper Nate Reid, a spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.

The driver, a 57-year-old man from Kansas, was pronounced dead on scene.

The refrigerated truck was carrying dairy products when it rolled.

Several eastbound lanes remain closed as crews clean up the accident, Reid said.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
