Police took one person into custody after an early-morning homicide at a Denver bar.
At 1:45 a.m. Saturday, police were called to MGM’s Restaurant and Lounge at 4801 Morrison Road and discovered a man in the parking lot with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. The man, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Police spotted the suspect’s vehicle a short time later and stopped it after a brief chase that ended near Interstate 70 and Washington Street. One person was taken into custody, and police were working Saturday night to verify the person’s identity.
