Josh Adams, a 6-foot, 175-pound guard who averaged 16.1 points and 2.6 assists last season for Chaparral High School, committed Monday night to play basketball at Wyoming.
“(The Cowboys) have a lot of the same goals that I do, and their style of play is very similar to the style of play that I thrive in,” said Adams, who picked the Cowboys over Northern Colorado, Boston College and Hawaii. “It just felt like the right place to be.”
Adams will lead a loaded Chaparral lineup in the 2011-12 season that includes senior guard Cory Calvert, another Division I-caliber prospect.
