Vegas is taking bets on Lingerie Football League games. What? “I think a lot of people’s perceptions would be it’s some floozies running around tossing a Nerf football,” Jay Rood, sports-book director at MGM Resorts, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “But when you watch it, they pound each other, and it’s entertaining. They do hit hard. It’s something a little different. It’s actually fun, and it’s an interesting product. It’s bigger than the WNBA right now.” Las Vegas never will get an NFL franchise, but its Sin won its LFL debut at Chicago, and it’s a good bet its players are tougher than Jay Cutler.
