Pastor Matthew LaGrange of Texas briefly loses his footing Tuesday as a bull elk slowly crosses his path while he was fly-fishing the Big Thompson River, near Estes Park. “I’m a pastor so I can’t say what I was thinking,” he said after exiting the river, “but it started with ‘Holy.'” Tuesday’s expedition marked LaGrange’s first time fly-fishing.
