ST. LOUIS — Hall of Fame manager Whitey Herzog is in a hospital recovering from a head injury suffered when he fell on a pool deck at his home Monday.
Herzog, 79, was still in the intensive care unit as of Friday morning. He is being examined for a concussion and will probably be hospitalized for another week, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
