AURORA, Colo.—Aurora Police say they’re looking for witnesses in an officer-involved shooting.
Authorities say 21-year-old Jerome Blackmon was shot and killed just before dawn Thursday after he ran toward officers with a gun and fired one shot. Multiple officers returned fire, killing Blackmon. No officers were injured.
The Aurora Sentinel reports ( ) that police were responding to reports of a disturbance inside a vehicle in a residential neighborhood. The shooting is under investigation.
