
A Boulder cyclist who was seriously injured when she was struck by an SUV that investigators say crossed the center line into the opposite shoulder of North Foothills Highway remains hospitalized in critical condition three weeks after the accident.
Meanwhile, Albert Gehorsam, 52, of Boulder — the driver accused of hitting the woman and two other cyclists — now has been ticketed by the Colorado State Patrol on suspicion of careless driving.
Amy Howard, 56, remained at St. Anthony’s Central in Denver on Thursday. She was airlifted to the hospital following the Sept. 8 accident that injured three Boulder women.
Jane McConnell, 47, and Susan Graves, 39, were both taken by ambulance to Boulder Community Hospital. McConnell was treated for minor injuries and released the day of the accident, while Graves was discharged from the hospital last Friday.
