A 37-year-old man who was shot Monday night died from his injuries Wednesday, becoming Colorado Springs’ 24th homicide of the year, police said in a news release.
There were 17 homicides by this time last year.
Richard Campbell was shot about 7 p.m. during a fight on the 5500 block of Bonita Village Drive. Police have named Donny Lopez as a suspect.
