FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A proposed settlement of a property tax dispute between Larimer County and Anheuser-Busch could mean less revenue for taxing entities including the Poudre School District.

The Coloradoan reports () county commissioners could formally approve the deal next week.

The dispute arose after the county assessor’s office appraised the company’s Fort Collins brewery at $91.8 million. Anheuser-Busch said it was worth about $20 million.

The proposed settlement values the brewery at $75 million for 2008-2010 and at $73 million for 2011- 2012. The county would give Anheuser-Busch a $1.5 million tax refund for 2008-2010.

The Coloradoan reports the brewer’s annual property tax bill for the site will be about $1.9 million, or about $500,000 less than before. The site will be reappraised in 2013.
