A man who appeared to be in his mid-50s was pulled from Boulder Creek behind the Boulder County Justice Center this afternoon and transported to Boulder Community Hospital in what police are calling a possible drowning.
Boulder Police Cmdr. Carey Weinheimer said a group of people walking near the creek saw the man in the water around 12:50 p.m., and two of them pulled the body out and began performing CPR.
The victim was not breathing, and Weinheimer said it’s not clear whether the person was unconscious from drowning or a separate medical issue.
The man’s condition is not known, police said.
