Here comes trouble: Infamous comedian Lenny Bruce was arrested several times in the early 1960s for obscenity; a 1964 conviction was eventually overturned by gubernatorial pardon, after Bruce died. He’d be 86 on Thursday. Anyone for a dirty martini?
Dirty Martini
Makes 1 drink.
Ingredients
2 ounces gin (or vodka)
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
1 teaspoon olive brine
3 olives
Directions
Stir together gin, vermouth and olive brine in cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into chilled martini glass, and garnish with olives.
