Gregory Kotsaftis, the 45-year-old owner of Boulder’s Go Motors, was arrested this week on theft and check-fraud charges, and investigators allege he defrauded at least eight customers.

Boulder police said their investigation into Kotsaftis began in August when they received a complaint from representatives of a Canadian car dealership — Paul Motors in Montreal — who said they bought a 2011 BMW from Go Motors, 3200 28th St., for $65,000 and never received the car.

Boulder police said at least seven other victims are known to investigators, three of whom paid for vehicles they never received. Some of the purchases were made on eBay, police said.
