Colorado Rare Earths Inc., a mineral exploration, mining and claims acquisition company, announced today that the company has changed its name to U.S. Rare Earths Inc.,and will trade under the new symbol “UREE.”
Colorado Rare Earths previously announced the acquisition of Salt Lake City-based U.S. Rare Earths, a privately held rare earths junior exploration company with mining and mineral claims located in and around the Lemhi Mining District of Idaho and the Montana Beaverhead District.
With the acquisition of U.S. Rare Earths, the company now holds over 12,000 acres of claims in Colorado, Idaho and Montana.
“The acquisition more than doubles our resources,” said chief executive Michael Parnell. “The name change is an important milestone in the evolution of the company marking our ability to acquire quality properties.”
