Electric-car maker Tesla Motors Inc. is sold out of next year’s production of its new Model S sedan and should earn a profit in 2013, chief executive Elon Musk said in a Bloomberg Television interview.
The company has orders for “more than 6,500” units of the $50,000 Model S to be built next year, Musk said.
