Interstate 25 has reopened at West Colfax Avenue more than three hours after a pedestrian was hit and killed crossing the interstate at 23rd Street Tuesday night.
The northbound lanes were closed after the man was struck at about 9:40 p.m., said Denver police police spokesman Sonny Jackson.
His name and age have not been released.
“It’s just not a good idea to try to cross the interstate on foot anytime,” Jackson said.
