COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A mother and father pulling their 4-year-old daughter in a wagon are recovering after they were hit by a car while on their way to go trick-or-treating.
Authorities say Samuel Kinkennon and Kelly Kinkennon were taken to hospitals with serious injuries but were expected to survive.
According to the Colorado Springs Gazette ( ), the girl had minor injuries and was not hospitalized.
Police say the girl was being pulled in a wagon on the way to her grandparents’ house to go trick-or-treating when her parents were hit.
The driver has not been charged and police are still investigating.
