DENVER—U.S. Census Bureau estimates that about 1,700 more Coloradans moved to Kansas than Kansans moved to Colorado.

A Denver Post ( ) analysis of bureau estimates found that Colorado remains a popular draw for people relocating from more populated states. California sent a net 10,427 new residents to Colorado. Colorado also got a net 5,892 new residents from Texas, 4,600 from Arizona and 3,221 from Georgia.

Kansas led the list of outmigration from Colorado. Other states that draw more residents than they send to Colorado are Arkansas, Maryland, South Carolina and Idaho.
