Colorado’s metro counties continued to see a sharp drop in foreclosures at the start of the fourth quarter, according to a report from the Colorado Division of Real Estate.
Foreclosure filings in October decreased 23.2 percent from October 2010, with totals falling from 3,059 to 2,350. October 2011 foreclosure sales, which represent completed foreclosures, were down an even larger 28.3 percent over the same period, from 1,308 to 938, the report said.
