Mini style mavens

We’ve gotten used to seeing little celebrities sporting stylish clothes: Suri Cruise in her heels, the Jolie-Pitt brood in designer sportswear. But when Mama already has a fashion line, such as Gwen Stefani and her Harajuku collection, it only makes sense that a children’s range is soon to follow. Stefani’s Harajuku Mini for Target debuted a few days ago and now other hip kids in Hollywood and elsewhere can sport looks like those modeled by Kingston, Stefani’s son. The line includes about 80 items of apparel and accessories for babies, kids and tweens. Prices range from $4 to $20 on striped leg warmers, onesie tuxedoes, tutulike skirts, fuzzy hoodies and skinny black pants. A second collection will be in stores beginning Dec. 25. Show and sell

Wearable art, jewelry, bags, wall hangings and items featuring precious metals are among the offerings in the annual member showcase sale at TACtile Textile Arts Center. The gallery is hosting a reception for participating artists from 4-7 p.m. Friday. Today — and the third Thursday of each month — the center hosts the SewFA lounge. From noon to 8 p.m., people can bring a project, get advice, and use TACtile’s equipment. TACtile also offers a number of classes. The weekend’s roster includes sessions on designing for textiles and redesigning sweaters. The member showcase will be up through Jan. 29 at 1955 S. Quince St. Information: 720-524-8886 or .

Spa specials

From pumpkin peels to head-to-toe glam sessions, local spas and salons have created seasonal specials and packages to help the transition into party season. Here are some to try:

Antoine du Chez is offering the What A Girl Wants package. For $130, clients get a designer haircut or style, luxury pedicure and manicure and makeup application. Schedule appointments at The Spa at Cherry Creek, 2700 E. Second Ave., 303-320-6012; or County Line spa, 9619 A E. County Line Road, Englewood, 303-768-9551. (Mention the special when booking services.)

Zuri Salon Spa thinks pumpkin should be used for pampering rather than pie. It has created an anti-aging pumpkin facial that is on sale through Thanksgiving for $85 rather than $110. The pumpkin body scrub, regularly $65, is now $50. Combine both services for $120 and you’ll save 30 percent. Appointments at 303-377-3377; the salon is at 3150 E. Third Ave.

The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Denver each Tuesday features happy hour specials of three mini-treatments or one 60-minute treatment, as well as a selection of wine and hors d’oeuvres, for $99. From 4-8 p.m., the treatments are a mini manicure with polish change, mini-massage, and hand and eye treatment; or one hour-long massage or facial. Refreshments are from Edge Restaurant. Guests get to use such spa amenities as the relaxation lounges with whirlpool and steam room, the fitness center, and the outdoor pool. Make reservations at 303-389-3020. Four Seasons Hotel Denver, 1111 14th St. Free valet parking; tips extra.

The Ritz-CarltonSpa Denver is serving Flavors of Fall. The pumpkin polishing peel also includes pineapple, yams and green tea, 50 minutes for $95, or 80 minutes for $135.
