Westside commuters beware, a busy stretch of Denver roadway will be shut down this morning, and tomorrow morning, for construction.
Northbound Federal Boulevard at West Colfax Avenue shuts down at 6 a.m. today and tomorrow as part of a bridge replacement project, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The section should reopen each day at 1 p.m.
Workers will be installing a drainage pipe across Federal to an existing manhole.
Traffic will be detoured in the area, delays are expected and alternate routes are advised.
