DENVER—Republicans drawing new state legislative districts say Democrats were given an unfair advantage when Democrats got the deadline extended.
Reapportionment Commission nonpartisan director Jeremiah Barry tells the Denver Post () he made a mistake not notifying Republicans of the extension.
The map provided by Democrats was later approved. Any legal challenges must be filed by Dec. 9 and the Colorado Supreme Court must certify a new map by Dec. 14.
