Air Force Academy officials announced Sunday that the Falcons will play in the Dec. 28 Military Bowl in Washington D.C., and will face the University of Toledo.

Air Force finished the regular season at 7-5, needing the second victories to becoming bowl eligible. The game is played in RFK Stadium.

The bowl appearance is the fifth straight for the Falcons in the five-year coaching term of Troy Calhoun.

Air Force defeated Georgia Tech 14-7 in last year’s Independence Bowl.

Wyoming to New Mexico

Wyoming (8-4) will face Temple (8-4) in the New Mexico Bowl on Dec. 17 in Albuquerque.
