Denver police are looking for a man accused of seriously injuring a 79-year-old woman after he knocked her to the ground, dragged her into a parking garage and stole her purse.

At 4:20 p.m. on Nov. 21, the woman was knocked over and dragged out of the Macy’s entrance at 15 S. Steele St., near the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, according to a news release from the Denver Police Department.

About 30 minutes later, surveillance video captured the suspect using the woman’s credit card at a Glendale King Soopers and Target.

The suspect was driving a silver 1995 to 2004 Suzuki Grand Vitara or Chevrolet Tracker. He is described as being 30 to 49 years old, clean-shaven, 5 feet 6 to 8 inches tall, with black hair.
