AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Michael Lyons scored 15 points and Air Force put cold- shooting Wright State away in the first half Wednesday night in a 55-34 victory.

Michal Lyons finished 5-for-10 from the field, including three of Air Force’s nine 3-pointers. Mike Fitzgerald added nine points as the Falcons (4-2) ended a two-game losing streak.

Wright State (3-6) shot a season-low 20 percent from the field.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Musketeers (7-0) kept their perfect record intact by scoring 10 straight points in the second half after leading by 18 in the first.

DAYTON, Ohio — After the Crimson Tide (7-2) cut a 16-point deficit to four, Kevin Dillard made two 3-pointers that sparked a game-ending, 17-9 run by the Flyers (6-3).

“I think we had them,” Alabama’s Trevor Releford said. “We had the same five guys out there and they were gassed, but they knocked down some shots.”

Dillard, who scored 14 points, said his 3-pointers turned the tables on the Tide.

“When they went on their run and we were only up by four, the pressure was kind of on us,” Dillard said. “That was kind of like a pressure release because then the ball’s in their court.”

MINNEAPOLIS — The Golden Gophers (5-5) had four players in double figures and shot 55 percent (17-of-31) in the first half while building a 47-23 lead over the Falcons (4-6), who had a minus-12 turnover differential (27-15).

Dymond James and Camille Thompson each scored 10 points for Air Force.
