The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory through 8 a.m. for a large slice of the Front Range, including Fort Collins, Greeley and Denver.

The fog should slowly start lifting after 8 a.m. but it could linger in some areas through the morning,
Drivers should take care and leave an appropriate distance between their vehicle and the vehicle in front of them.
Denver skies, after the fog lifts, should be mostly sunny this afternoon and the high temperature should be about 30 degrees, the weather service said.
The weekend weather in Denver should be sunny, with a high of 46 degrees on Saturday and about 50 degrees on Sunday.
