A man was robbed last night after he withdrew money from a Wells Fargo ATM in Colorado Springs just before midnight.
Two men in dark clothes and masks put a pistol to the back of the victim’s head and demanded his money.
A witness chased the suspects as they fled on foot. One of the suspects dropped a BB or pellet gun during the chase.
The two men got into a gray car, which was driven by a third person. Police later found the car abandoned at a nearby bowling alley. They also found the car’s owner, Sloan Gross, on foot near the scene of the robbery.
It is unclear at this time whether the car’s owner was also the driver, but he has been arrested on charges related to the robbery.
The investigation is still underway.
