DENVER—An eighth-grade teacher accused of selling drugs is on administrative leave.

The Denver district attorney’s office says 31-year-old Jordan Marcowitz is accused of possessing more than 25 grams with the intent to distribute “Molly,” which is similar to Ecstasy.

He is charged with distribution of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He is free on $15,000 bond. He has an unlisted phone number.

The Denver Post reports ( ) Marcowitz was a science teacher at Shadow Ridge Middle School but is on administrative leave from Adams 12 Five Star Schools.
