GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Grand Valley Transit has topped 1 million rides in a single year for the first time.
Grand Valley Transit celebrated the record Wednesday. Some riders received free goodie bags and were entered to win a free one-year bus pass to mark the occasion.
The bus system was created in 2000.
