Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward to find whoever broke in and vandalized several Rifle businesses early Saturday.
At the Rifle Creek Museum the culprit or culprits used a pick axe to get in, then tore the alarm system off of the wall to disable it.
Next door, they broke into the Rifle Thrift Store and caused more than $1,500 worth of damage, according to Rifle police.
Details about other break-ins and the extent of the damage to the museum were not released today.
