Aerial Circus Holiday Camp

Today-Wednesday: Ages 6 to adult are invited to this three-day mini camp where participants learn on a variety of aerial apparatuses. 10 a.m.-noon. $135, $25 registration fee for new students. First Day Hikes Jan. 1: A nationwide initiative encourages everyone to get out and hike, snowshoe or cross country to start off 2012. Eleven Colorado state parks offer naturalist-guided hikes and other activities throughout the day. Events are free with a daily or annual Colorado State Parks pass. Through Jan. 31: Photographers 18 and older are invited to submit photos of people enjoying the state parks. Categories include: Best of Winter, Best of Spring/Summer and Best of Fall.
