Arapahoe County investigators say a man intentionally rammed his vehicle into parked cars and tried to run over people in a Centennial neighborhood Tuesday night.
Sheriff’s officials say 40-year-old Carlos A. Ayala faces charges of criminal mischief, menacing, resisting arrest and obstructing government operations. He’s suspected of crashing into five vehicles and a wooden fence and trying to run over four people in the 19700 block of East Union Boulevard.
Aurora police arrested Ayala, who is being held on $50,000 bail.
Investigators said they are trying to determine Ayala’s motive.
