COMMERCE CITY — A special Ward 2 meeting to discuss hydraulic fracturing in the city is scheduled for Tuesday at the Landmark Academy gym, 10550 Memphis St.
Several oil-and-gas experts will be on hand to share information on hydraulic fracturing, which is under scrutiny in Commerce City.
The Ward 2 meeting, hosted by City Councilman Jim Benson, will feature panelists, including:
• Phillip Barber, an attorney with more than 30 years of oil-and-gas-litigation experience.
• Charlie Montgomery, an energy organizer with the Colorado Environmental Coalition.
• Debbie Baldwin, environmental manager with the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.
• Jim Jones, general manager of the South Adams County Water and Sanitation District.
