GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—A tentative agreement to share water resources between the Western Slope and the Front Range is still on hold.
Negotiators say issues regarding the administration of Green Mountain Reservoir and the Shoshone power plant in Glenwood Canyon are holding up the agreement.
Denver Water and the Colorado River District announced in April they had reached a tentative agreement that could resolve the disputes.
According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel ( ), more than 30 Western Slope water entities have to agree to it, along with Denver Water.
