Authorities are looking for a man suspected of impersonating a police officer and sexually assaulting a woman in Loveland on Thursday night.

About 10 p.m., the woman pulled her car over in the area of West 32nd Street and Glade Road, after a black sedan with a red light stopped her, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.

A man approached her car and said he was a police officer before sexually assaulting her. No weapons were involved in the assault.

The man was described as being medium in height and build. He had graying hair cut above his ears, blue eyes and was wearing dark uniform-style clothing with a patch on one of the shoulders.
