The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department needs help identifying two men dressed in black who robbed a Safeway store at 12442 W. Ken Caryl Ave. on Jan. 1.

Investigators say the pair asked for a store manager, then showed him a gun and demanded cash.

There were no customers in the store at the time, and no one was hurt.

Both men were white and about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and had medium builds.

One had a beard or goatee the sheriff’s department described as “scruffy.” He wore a black jacket over a light-green camouflage U.S. Marine Corps hoodie, black pants, black gloves and black shoes. He carried a black backpack.

The second man had undetermined accent and a full beard. He wore black jacket, black beanie, black pants, and black shoes.

Anyone with information can call 303-271-5612.
