One person was killed and three were injured in a two-car collision between Lafayette and Longmont today.
A 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck was going south U.S. 287 when it crossed the center median near Colorado Highway 52 and went into the path of a 2010 Mercedes Benz.
No names have been released.
The pickup’s front-seat passenger, a 54-year-old man, was killed. A woman in the truck was rushed to Longmont United Hospital with serious injuries. The state patrol did not release her age.
The truck’s driver, a 30-year-old man, also suffered serious injuries and was taken to Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 46-year-old woman, was taken to Good Samaritan with moderate injuries.
