Julie Carleen Johnson-Garcia, 55, of Parker will be prosecuted on charges she allowed two people to take a law-enforcement exam at home and other cadets to view the test in advance.
She also is charged with lying to investigators and attempting to get two others to lie, according to an indictment returned by a Denver grand jury.
Garcia was a proctor for Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training exams last year. State law requires would-be officers to pass the examination to become certified and serve.
Garcia faces felony charges of attempting to influence a public servant and tampering with a witness.
The charges resulted from an investigation by the Colorado Attorney General’s special prosecutions unit.
