BOULDER, Colo.—A 27-year-old Boulder man is facing burglary charges after police found him inside a store, where they discovered someone sampled eight tubs of prepared food and damaged other deli delights.

Police accused Anthony Tornowski of breaking into Alfalfa’s Market on Saturday, eating or destroying about $1,000 worth of food.

According to the Boulder Daily Camera ( ), police were investigating a report of a burglar alarm when they found the man behind the deli counter, hiding behind a steel storage container.

The store manager told police that someone sampled eight tubs of freshly prepared items such as sushi, muffins, potato salad and roasted chicken.
