BOULDER, Colo.—A jury has acquitted two former University of Colorado sprinters accused of burglary.

The Daily Camera reports ( ) Quinton Elgin Dodson and Aaron Jaron “A.J.” Whitaker were acquitted last week of first-degree burglary, theft and third-degree assault. They had been accused in a burglary April 8 in which a CU student said someone grabbed his bicycle from him inside his home while someone else started hitting him.

CU spokesman Bronson Hilliard says neither Dodson nor Whitaker is actively enrolled at this time. He says federal law prohibits him from saying anything more about their status.
