LARAMIE, Wyo.—Former Wyoming defensive coordinator Marty English has accepted a job coaching the defensive line at Colorado State.
English was Wyoming’s defensive coordinator for the past three seasons before being demoted with the addition of Chris Tormey. English originally came to Wyoming in 2003 as linebacker coach under head coach Joe Glenn.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports ( ) Tuesday that English has been hired by the Rams’ new head coach, Jim McElwain.
Wyoming coach Dave Christensen thanked English, calling him a big part of Wyoming’s success over the past three years.
English coached at Northern Colorado from 1987 to 2002.
