A man was shot in the chest this evening while sitting in his vehicle parked behind an apartment complex at 2700 Federal Blvd., Denver police said.
The man was taken to a hospital in a private car and the circumstances that led to the shooting at about 6:45 p.m. are under investigation, said Detective John White.
Police are looking for two Hispanic men who were wearing all dark clothing. White did not yet know whether they were seen leaving on foot or in a vehicle.
