Tickets are available for Denver’s Old House fair March 10 at the Tivoli, 900 Auraria Parkway. Hosted by Denver’s Old House Society, the annual event pairs owners of historic homes with those in-the-know on their care and improvement. This year adds an “Old House RoadShow” — bring up to three collectibles for a complimentary appraisal by a local expert. Colorado State University’s Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising is featuring “Hawaiian Quilts: God in Expression,” now through Aug. 2 at the museum, 1400 Remington St. in Fort Collins. Plus, guest curator Elizabeth Akana, one of Hawaii’s premier quilt historians and a quilter herself, will lead two workshops on the art form April 13 and 14.
