AIR FORCE ACADEMY  — John Kruse, Stephen Carew and Chad Demers each scored two goals, and Jason Torf stopped all 20 shots he faced as Air Force beat Mercyhurst 8-0 in an Atlantic Hockey Association game Friday at the Cadet Ice Arena.

With the win, Air Force improved to 16-7-7 and 14-4-6 in the league. AFA is in sole possession of first place with 34 points, two points ahead of Niagara and RIT.

Colorado College 4, Nebraska Omaha 3: COLORADO SPRINGS —  Jaden Schwartz scored the go-ahead goal at 2:47 of the third period and Nebraska Omaha had a tying goal with 2:46 left waved off, giving the Tigers a Western Collegiate Hockey Association victory.

Schwartz finished with a goal and two assists for the Tigers (16-11-2, 13-9-1), who snapped a three-game winless streak.
