BOULDER, Colo.—The Hershey Co. says it now owns 69 percent of the Boulder-based company behind mix1 protein drinks.
Hershey invested $5.75 million last year in Tri-Us Inc., which does business as mix1 Beverage Co.
The Daily Camera reports ( ) Hershey disclosed in documents filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it has invested $6 million more.
The $6 million from Hershey was part of $7.25 million that mixI said last month that it had raised. Mix1 hadn’t said at the time who contributed the money.
